I dreamed there was a rustling in some bushes. I dreamed I woke up from a nap, but really, I was still dreaming. I dreamed my Mom was sitting on our couch with her friend. They tell me about a beautiful snake they have seen. It is turquoise. Her friend wants to put the snake into a river.
My husband pulls out a black dog from the bushes. The snake wants to keep it there so it can easily feed him to it’s young.
Then, I dreamed I was talking on the phone with my friend, Hawk and he sees a gray snake.
And God said: The dream as you see it is in three parts.
One is the fighting in the dream. You are fighting and wrestling with the snake who is the evil one.
Second, the people in the dream are Hawk, your Mom’s friend, and your Mom. They each represent a spiritually weak person. Each person is playing with the devil but doesn’t know it. You remember your Mom’s friend saying it was so beautiful. She was bewitched, bewildered by Satan’s charms and beauty.
Third, the dog represents beauty. The snake is trying to take the beauty and cause destruction in your life. But I, like the hands of your husband, I will lift it and place it on solid ground. I love you. Serve Me. I will care for you. Shalom. And life IS good when the Christ is in it. Don’t let the beauty be taken from you. Shalom.
