Holy Father, this day of Halloween is a day that You have made. I rejoice and am glad in You. I pray for the many who celebrate it is a fun time to get or give candy, to dress up in silly, funny, or evil costumes. I pray for the children, teens, and adults who participate. There are many good people who do not know the depths of depravity and hate that occur on this day. I ask You to defend them and keep them safe. Open their hearts, minds, and lives to You, for You are truth.
I ask that those who are sinister be stopped. May the spirit of the evil one not advance upon this nation any further, and declare he must retreat. I ask that those who follow him will get a revelation of the One True God and search for You, for when they search for You with their whole hearts they will find You. You have promised this and Your Word is true. May there be no more victims or sacrifices to any other gods. Jesus is the true sacrifice and He did it once for all people everywhere.
I ask that those who celebrate this day will get a revelation of the contrast between darkness and light. I ask that they will see that Halloween is a celebration of death but You are life, and life more abundantly. Forgive those who do this in ignorance as I once did. Give them an understanding of how You view this revelry and help them choose life and not death. Thank You for Your mercy.
