AND I prayed, Father, my dog, Blessing, is filled with love. He wants to be friends with everyone he meets. Some receive him with joy, but others hate him and refuse his love. They have even hit him, but he keeps on loving them. Again and again, he is hurt by rejection of his love. How like Jesus is this? It seems so absurd to me to reject the One that we need but we do.
Blessing often does things I don’t want him to do, but I don’t mind because I know he wants to please me, but he doesn’t always know how. I would rather have him than a fully obedient dog who only obeys out of fear. Isn’t that how it is with us and our walk with Jesus? You would rather have our desire to please You than our carnal perfection.
And God said: Visit My temple of holiness. Seek Me. I Am shaking this temple. It is for My victory that I speak it. I will lead you. Rejoice in Me for I work for you. Shalom.
And life IS good when the Christ is in it. Bless you as you seek Jesus. Shalom.
