It was a quiet morning. I was in the living room. The bluegill that my daughter caught in the lake jumped out of his fifty gallon tank. He lay on the floor flopping around. I tried to pick him up but he was slimy and wet and I could not hold him. I ran to get my husband but he was still sleeping and would not wake up, even though I shook him and shouted at him.
Finally, I scooped Mr. Bluegill up into the dust pan and quickly thrust him back in to the water where he was safe.
And God said: As a fish cannot exist outside of water so you cannot serve Me outside of My Spirit, My Pet. Joshua was a great leader and so shall you be, My Child. Come to Me with your every need. I will care for you. The drama you experienced is an example of your life without Me. It would quickly end in destruction.
Follow My leading, My Pet. I will care for you. Even in the storms and bridges of life, I will care for you. Be not disturbed. Be not dismayed at the things that overtake you, My Child. My love will come and along with it your blessings. You have already seen it begin to work. I shelter you under My wings of love.
Be not afraid for I go with you, My Child. I Am in love with you and you with Me. I plan for your beauty. I take away the ashes that have long been there. The destruction of yesteryear is gone. I Am complete. Your days will end in complete submission to My Spirit and My Son, My Child.
This is a good thing. This is a very good thing and I will be happy to greet you when you come home to Me, My Child. Once saved always saved is not true, but you will find that I love you. You will be complete and whole. Shalom.
And life IS good when the Christ is in it. God will care for you. Shalom.
