And I prayed. I want to follow You, Lord God in all things. Help me to understand Your leading and to respond to Your nudge in my heart. Pat once gave me a hundred dollars and my cousin took me to dinner. How clearly I remember those gifts. They remain in my heart for they came unexpectedly in a time of need.
Father, open my eyes to the needs in others. Help me give as Jesus gave all of Himself for us. Forgive me for the times I held back thinking only of my needs instead of giving my all. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
And God said: Child, I love you. I thank you for being My Child, for being My friend. I know you think this could not be Me saying this, but it is true. I do love you and thank you. It is your obedience that I bless. I give you an anointing. I make small things great.
